Position Details

Unit Information

• Number of Beds: 12
• Patient Ratios:

  • ICU patients: 2:1
  • Med/surg and PCU patients: 4:1
• Staffing: Charge RN, RNs, Patient Care Technicians (PCT)
• Equipment: Ventilators, specialty beds, occasionally CRRT (Continuous Renal Replacement Therapy)
• Documentation System: Meditech
• Scheduling Requirements: Minimum of 4 weekend shifts per 4-week schedule
• Floating Policy: Contract labor floats first
• Patient Experience Requirements: Med/surg experience preferred

Required Certifications and Licenses

• BLS (Basic Life Support)
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
• NIH Certification
• Registered Nurse License

• Dress Code: Navy scrubs required
