Travel RN Opportunity - Burn ICU, Nashville, TN
Position Details
- Specialty: Registered Nurse (RN)
- Unit: Burn ICU
- Location: Nashville, Tennessee
- Employment Type: Travel
- Contract Length: 13 weeks
Unit Information
- Number of Beds: 12
- Patient Ratios:
- ICU patients: 2:1
- Med/surg and PCU patients: 4:1
- Staffing: Charge RN, RNs, Patient Care Technicians (PCT)
- Equipment: Ventilators, specialty beds, occasionally CRRT (Continuous Renal Replacement Therapy)
- Documentation System: Meditech
- Scheduling: Minimum of 4 weekend shifts per 4-week schedule
- Floating Policy: Contract labor floats first
- Patient Experience Requirement: Med/surg experience preferred
Required Certifications and Licenses
- BLS (Basic Life Support)
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
- NIH Certification
- Registered Nurse License
Experience Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of experience in the RN specialty (Burn ICU or related critical care)
Additional Information
- Dress Code: Navy scrubs required
- Procedures and advanced skills specific to Burn ICU care expected
- Opportunity to work with experienced staff and advanced technology
- Contract labor prioritized for floating assignments
This position is ideal for experienced RNs with critical care skills, particularly in burn and ICU settings, who are comfortable with weekend scheduling and working in a fast-paced, technology-equipped environment.
