Physical Therapist (PT) - Travel Position

Location: Atlantis, Florida
Employment Type: Travel

Job Details

• Shift: Days, 8 hours
• Weekends: One weekend per month (with weekdays off to balance)
• On Call: No
• Unit: 42-bed Inpatient Rehabilitation (IP Rehab)
• Staffing:

  • Day Shift: Director, Lead PT, 4-5 PTs, 5-6 PTAs
  • No night shifts
• Patient Ratios: Vary based on volume
• Equipment: Treatment beds, exercise balls, resistance bands, treadmills, exercise bikes
• EMR System: Meditech

Required Qualifications

• Licenses/Certifications:

  • PT License
  • BLS Certification
• Experience:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in acute care, Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF), and/or Inpatient Rehabilitation (IP Rehab)
• Skills:

  • Ability to work varied day shift hours
• Preferred:

  • Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree

Typical Patient Population & Procedures

• Inpatient care for orthopedic, cardiovascular, neurologic, and general medical/surgical patients
• Schedule varies based on surgical volume, including weekends and holiday rotations
