Radiology Tech - Cath Lab

Location: Bemidji, Minnesota
Facility: Sanford Bemidji Medical Center
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Overview

• Work within the Sanford Bemidji Heart and Vascular Center
• Perform diagnostic imaging examinations focused on cardiac catheterization, electrophysiology (EP), and vascular procedures
• Ensure production of high-quality diagnostic images for clinical use
• Monitor patient vitals and perform charting

Required Experience & Skills

• Minimum 2 years experience as a Radiology Technician in Cardiac Cath Lab, EP, and/or Vascular settings (2-5 years preferred)
• Experience with heart cath procedures, peripherals, pacemakers, and ablations

Certifications & Licenses

• Active ARRT certification
• BLS (must be American Heart Association certified)
• ACLS (must be American Heart Association certified)

Equipment Used

• Philips FD20 and Azurion B20 imaging systems
• Epic charting system
• MacLab
• ACIST injector
• CSI, Laser, Shockwave
• Balloon pumps, temporary pacemakers, Impellas
• Carto mapping system

Schedule & Shift Details

• Typical shift: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
• On-call 1-2 times per week
• Every 4th weekend on call
• Late team coverage 1-2 times per week (stay until late procedures are completed)

Additional Information

• Must be willing to apply for the Minnesota Net Study within 2 weeks of offer acceptance
• 3 Cath Labs in the unit
• Clinicians must badge in and out at the facility
• Ceil Blue provided
• Candidates who have previously worked for Sanford Health must have a minimum 6-month gap since last employment before reapplying
