Job Opportunity: Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) - Travel Position

Location: Towanda, Pennsylvania
Contract Length: 13 weeks (approximately 3 months)
Facility Setting: Acute Rehab

Reason for Opening: Replacement of permanent staff
Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8-hour day shifts
Number of Beds: 15
Floating Requirement: No, only treat patients in acute rehab
EMR System: EPIC
Dress Code: Gray scrubs

Experience Requirements

• Years of Experience in Specialty: 2 years (higher end of 1-2 years range)
• Preferred Experience Level: Any
• Prior Travel Experience: Not explicitly required

Licensing and Clearance Requirements (Pennsylvania)

• Must be licensed in Pennsylvania
• All fingerprints must be submitted before clearance:

  • Pennsylvania Child Abuse History Clearance
  • Department of Human Services Fingerprinting
  • FBI Department of Aging Fingerprinting (must be within last two years or newly completed)
  • PA State Police Clearance (PATCH)
• Volunteer clearances are not accepted

• This is a travel contract position in an acute rehab setting.
• The position does not require floating to other units.
• Candidates should be prepared to comply with all state-specific licensing and clearance requirements prior to starting.
