Travel RN Opportunity - Labor & Delivery

Location: Palmer, Alaska
Facility: Mat-Su Regional Medical Center (Community Health Systems)
Employment Type: Travel
Shift: Nights (1900-0730), variable nights with alternating weekends
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

Provide nursing care during antepartum, intrapartum, immediate postpartum, and neonatal phases of Obstetrical care.
Utilize the Nursing Process in accordance with state Nurse Practice Act and hospital policies.
Demonstrate critical thinking, scientific judgment, and leadership for safe delivery of care.
Maintain clinical competencies through continuing education.
Delegate patient care priorities based on staff education and experience.
Provide direction and supervision to assigned personnel delivering patient care.

Requirements

Valid Alaska RN License
BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification
NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification
Labor & Delivery experience required
Must be located more than 50 miles from the facility

Scrubs provided
Travelers must include home address and SSN on submissions (for credentialing purposes)
