Description

Physical Therapist - Outpatient

Location: Prescott, Arizona
Facility: Yavapai Regional Medical Center
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Details

Setting: Outpatient Clinic
Patient Load: Approximately 10 patients treated per day
Common Diagnoses/Patient Types: Hands, upper extremity (UE) related, and other general outpatient cases
Treatment Focus:
- Orthotic fabrication
- UE related modalities
Treatment Sessions: 45-minute treatments, 1:1 patient care
Weekly Hours: Approximately 20-25 hours focused on hand-related therapy; remainder general outpatient therapy
Shifts: 8-hour days
Weekend/Holiday Requirements: None

Requirements & Preferences

Certifications: BLS required; Certified Hand Therapist (CHT) preferred
Experience: Must have skills in orthotic fabrication and UE modalities
Dress Code: Business casual with maroon shirts provided by employer

Team & Support

Supervisors: PT Managers available
Support Staff: Physical Therapist Assistants (PTAs) and Rehab Technicians available
Orientation: 1 day hospital orientation plus 1-2 days department-specific orientation

This position is ideal for physical therapists with outpatient experience, particularly those skilled in hand and upper extremity therapy, seeking a part-time contract role without weekend or holiday shifts.
