Cardiac Cath Lab Tech - Travel Position
Location: Derry, New Hampshire
Facility: Parkland Medical Center (HCA Healthcare)
Unit Information
- Unit: Cardiac Cath Lab
- Beds: 86
- Patient Ratios: 1:1
- Staffing: RN Procedural support, unit secretaries and tech availability
- Equipment: GE Innova, MacLab Hemodynamic System
- Documentation System: MEDITECH
- Scheduling: Days and on-call nights and weekends
- Floating Policy: Possible but not probable
- Patient Experience: AIDET communication standards
Certifications & Requirements
- BLS and ACLS required
- RCIS or ARRT required
Skills & Procedures
- Advanced Skills Needed:
- Hemodynamics
- IABP (Intra-Aortic Balloon Pump)
- Temporary and permanent pacemakers
- STEMI intervention
- Moderate sedation
- Preferred (not required): Interventional Radiology
- Procedures Performed:
- Cardiac Cath
- STEMI
- Interventional Radiology
- Minor EP (Electrophysiology)
- Device implants
- TEE (Transesophageal Echocardiography)
- Cardioversion
- Biopsy with moderate sedation
