Travel Respiratory Therapist (RRT) Opportunity

Location: Arlington, Texas
Specialty: Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)
Employment Type: Travel
Contract Length: 13 weeks


Key Requirements

  • Experience: Minimum 2 years of specialty experience (NICU experience required)
  • Certifications:
    • ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
    • BLS (Basic Life Support)
    • NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program)
    • PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
  • Licenses: Valid Respiratory Therapist (RT) License/Certification
  • Prior Travel Experience: Not explicitly required

Unit & Work Environment

  • Unit: Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU)
  • Documentation System: Meditech
  • Floating Policy: As needed
  • Call Requirements: To be discussed during interview
  • Guaranteed Hours: 36 to 40 hours per week
  • Shift/Workdays: Weekend schedule to be discussed during interview

Additional Notes

  • Candidates without NICU experience will not be considered
  • The unit values teamwork and provides resources to support excellent patient care
  • Floating and attendance policies are in place and must be followed

This position is ideal for experienced RRTs with NICU expertise looking for a travel assignment in a well-established, high-acuity hospital environment.
