Description

Registered Nurse (RN) - Temp Position

Location: West Des Moines, Iowa
Facility: Methodist West Hospital

Job Description

Must be COVID vaccinated (Medical/Religious exemptions available upon request)
Contribute professional nursing knowledge and skills as part of an interdisciplinary team
Provide and manage patient care using the nursing process
EMR system: EPIC
Holiday multiplier: 1.25x
Overtime billing:
- If scheduled 36-40 hrs/week, OT billed after 40 hrs
- If scheduled 48 hrs/week, OT billed after 48 hrs

Requirements

Minimum 2 years current Labor & Delivery (L&D) experience in a hospital setting, including OR experience
Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP, FHM
May float to Mother-Baby (MB) and Postpartum (PP) units
Must provide:
- Work history/resume
- Home/taxable address or driver license
- Skills checklist completed within 1 year of submission
- License verification
- References (required during onboarding)

License

Iowa RN license required
Compact license allowed
