Job Overview

• Provide professional nursing care as part of an interdisciplinary team using the nursing process.
• Work in a high-risk delivery environment with 160-180 deliveries per month.
• Serve a large population of non-English speaking patients.
• Nurses perform triage and assessments independently as physicians are not onsite 24/7.
• Experience with larger, high-volume delivery centers (200-300 deliveries/month) is preferred.
• Use of EMR system: EPIC.

Requirements

Experience

• Circulating experience required; scrub experience encouraged.
• Multiple travel contracts completed encouraged.
• EPIC STORK experience encouraged.
• High-risk obstetrics experience required.
• Experience within the past year at larger, high-volume delivery centers.
• High acuity patient care experience.

Certifications

• ACLS (AHA)
• AWHONN
• BLS (AHA)
• NRP

Licensure

• Valid Iowa RN license required.
• Compact license allowed.

• Skills checklist completed within 1 year.
• License verification.
• Copy of BLS certification.
• References highly preferred (may be required during onboarding).
