Physical Therapist Travel Job - Cedar Rapids, Iowa
Facility: St. Luke's Hospital
Location: Cedar Rapids, Iowa
Employment Type: Temporary
Contract Length: 13 weeks

- St. Luke's is a 532-bed hospital founded in 1884, the first hospital in Cedar Rapids.
- One of two hospitals in Cedar Rapids (the other is Mercy Medical Center).
- Emergency department treats over 55,000 patients annually and handles the most trauma cases in Iowa.
Job Requirements
Experience:
- Minimum 1 year current hospital-based experience.
- In-patient acute care experience required.
- Experience with adult patient population.
- May include ICU and COVID+ patient care.
Licenses & Certifications:
- Active Physical Therapist (PT) license and certification.
- BLS certification required.
- Must hold a valid Iowa state license.
Other Requirements:
- COVID-19 vaccination required (medical/religious exemptions considered).
- Submission must include:
- Work history/resume.
- Home/taxable address listed somewhere in profile.
- Skills checklist completed within 1 year of submission.
- License verification.
- Copies of all certificates.
- References highly preferred (may be required during onboarding).
Work Details
- EMR system: EPIC OT/Holiday multiplier: 1.25x
- Overtime billable after 40 or 48 hours depending on weekly guarantee.
- New grad orientation (NBO): 8 hours
This position is ideal for a Physical Therapist with acute hospital experience looking for a temporary travel assignment in a well-established hospital with a busy emergency and trauma department.
