Job Opportunity: Interventional Radiology (IR) Technologist
Location: Missoula, Montana
Facility: Providence Saint Patrick Hospital
Hospital System: Providence Health and Services - MSP
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks

- Position primarily for Interventional Radiology (IR)
- Floating between units required (IR and possibly X-ray)
- Flexible and available for frequent on-call duties
Schedule & Work Details
- On-call required: 7-15 days per month
- Weekends: Not required
- Block schedules: Not required
- Expected patient ratio: 1:1
- Floating: Yes, between IR and possibly X-ray units

- State License verification (as applicable)
- NURSYS verification for RNs
- IV Certification (if applicable)
- Management of Assaultive Behavior (MAB) - if applicable
- NIH Stroke Certification - if applicable
- CPI (Crisis Prevention Institute) - if applicable
- Tech Certification Verification (National) for Allied Professionals
Required Documents & Compliance
- I9 Attestation
- Government-issued Photo ID (Driver’s License/State ID)
- Social Security Card (for WA state OBRA search if applicable)

- Background Check within 45 days of start (covering all locations lived/worked in past 7 years)
- EPLS/GSA/SAM and HHS/OIG checks within 30 days of start
- Employment Application (last 5 years minimum)
- References: Minimum 2 supervisor references covering 1 year employment in relevant specialty

- Skills Checklist (annual update required)
- Physical Exam within 1 year of start
- Drug Testing: 10 Panel Drug Screen within 90 days of start (no instant tests)
- Immunizations and Health Documents:
- TDAP (within 10 years or declination)
- Negative TB test or Chest X-Ray (annual update)
- MMR (Measles, Mumps, Rubella) vaccination or positive titer
- Hepatitis B vaccination or signed declination
- Varicella vaccination or positive titer
- Flu Vaccine during flu season (declination accepted)
- COVID-19 Vaccine or declination (if onsite)
- Fit Mask Test (N95 or approved equivalent) - required for travel starts after 2/5/2024
- Respiratory Safety Clearance (annual for travel starts after 2/5/2024)
Training & Competency Requirements
- Medication Test/Pharmacology Competency Exam (as applicable)
- Competency Exams relevant to specialty
- Color Blind Testing (if required by unit)
