Job Details
- Shift: 3 shifts per week, 12 hours each (Monday-Friday, 6:30 AM - 7:00 PM)
- On-call: Yes, 5-8 calls per month including weekends
- Holiday Requirements: Holiday call may be required
- Experience Required: Minimum 2 years
- Experience Needed: Must be able to scrub and circulate general OR cases
- Preferred Experience: Circulating & scrubbing general OR cases such as Plastics, Colorectal, Urology, MIS, Pancreatic/Biliary, Surgical Oncology; experience with robotics (5 robots available) highly preferred
- First-timers: Not preferred
- License Required: South Carolina RN license or Multi-state RN license must be active at contract start
- Certifications Required:
- BLS (AHA)
- ACLS (AHA)
- Radiation badge (provided by agency)
- Local Radius Rule: 60 miles
- Locals Accepted: Yes, on a case-by-case basis

- Licensure Verification: Primary source verification of active, unencumbered SC RN license or compact license
- Drug Testing: 10-panel drug screen within 90 days of start (no instant tests)
- Fit Mask Test: Fit test within 90 days prior to start with approved N95 masks required
- Radiation Badge: Required for OR RNs; must be obtained before starting clinical work
- Competency Exams: Medication/pharmacology and OR competency exams required; pediatric OR competency preferred if applicable
- Color Blind Testing: Required prior to start
- Health Documents:
- Physical exam updated annually
- Tdap vaccine within 10 years or declination form
- Negative TB test (T-Spot or Q-Gold) within 90 days
- Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella: Positive titer or vaccination series required; boosters may be needed for low titers
- Hepatitis B: Titer, vaccine series, or declination required
- Flu vaccine required during flu season or approved exemption
- COVID-19 vaccine highly preferred; declination form required if not vaccinated
- CBC and Comprehensive Metabolic Panel required for Sterile Processing Techs only
