Description

Travel Respiratory Therapist (RRT) - Neonatal ICU

Location: Savannah, Georgia
Employment Type: Travel
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Unit Information

Unit: Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU)
Shift: 7 PM – 12-hour shift
Equipment Used:
- Servo U & Drager VN500 ventilators
- F&P Bubble CPAP
- High-Frequency Oscillatory Ventilation (HFOV)
- High-Frequency Jet Ventilation (HFJV)
- Vaportherm
- Heliox therapy
Documentation System: Epic
Dress Code: Hunter Green uniform

Required Experience & Skills

Minimum 1+ year experience in Neonatal ICU or Pediatric ICU (PICU) Critical Care
Must be able to independently admit and manage ventilated patients in Pediatric ICU using Servo-U ventilator
Experience setting up and managing heliox therapy (invasive and non-invasive)
Familiarity with non-invasive ventilation including BiPAP and CPAP
Neonatal skills including Bubble CPAP, nitric oxide use, and high-frequency ventilation

Certifications & Licenses

PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) required
ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
BLS (Basic Life Support)
NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program)
Valid Respiratory Therapist (RT) License/Certification
