Description

Registered Nurse (RN) - Labor and Delivery

Location: Keene, New Hampshire
Facility: Cheshire Medical Center
Employment Type: Temporary
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

Provide nursing care to patients from infancy through adult lifespan.
Utilize knowledge of age-related growth and development to individualize nursing care.
Support a midwife-led, low-intervention approach to pregnancy care emphasizing natural birth with medical resources available if needed.
Must not request schedule accommodations such as block scheduling.
Requested time off (RTO) must be noted and verified at profile upload; no more than 5 days allowed.
Covid vaccinations strongly recommended but not required.
Local travelers (within 50 miles of facility) will not be considered.

Requirements

Minimum 2 years of Labor and Delivery experience (Required)
Postpartum and Mother/Baby care experience (Required)
Epic EMR experience
ACLS certification
AWHONN Certification within past 3 years (Preferred)
BLS (AHA) and NRP certifications required
New Hampshire nursing license (Compact allowed)
Must have own vehicle (firm requirement)
Permanent address must be included in profile
All medical/occupational health compliance items must be ordered, collected, and resulted within 5 days of offer acceptance; proofs must be uploaded promptly
Cover page (if available), work history, and current licenses/certifications (Nursys, BLS, NRP) must be uploaded with profile

Cheshire Medical Center is a 169-bed regional referral center in Keene, NH.
Partners with Dartmouth-Hitchcock Keene to provide primary and specialty care throughout southwestern New Hampshire.
Keene is located between Boston, MA and Hartford, CT, near many recreational and historical sites.
