Travel RN Opportunity - Rehab/Neuro Specialty
Location: Frazier Rehab, Louisville, Kentucky
Hospital System: University of Louisville (Parent)
Facility: Frazier Rehab, 7th Floor
Position Details
- Role: Registered Nurse (RN)
- Specialty: Rehab/Neuro (TBI-CVA Unit)
- Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
- Weekly Hours: 36 hours guaranteed
- Weekend Hours: Every third weekend, 6:30 AM – 7:00 PM
- Call Requirements: None
- Contract Length: 13 weeks
- Float Requirements: Must be willing to float to other units within Frazier Rehab
Required Qualifications
- Certifications: BLS, NIHSS
- Experience: Minimum 2 years
- Skills: Trach care and G-Tube management required
- Preferred Experience: Medical-Surgical nursing
Unit Information
- Number of Beds: 28
- Patient Ratios:
- Day Shift: 1 nurse to 6 patients
- Night Shift: 1 nurse to 8 patients
- Patient Population: Spinal cord injury and brain injury patients
- Equipment Used:
- Tube feeding
- Ventilators
- Tracheostomy care
- Alaris IV pumps
- Hoyer lifts
- Kangaroo pumps
- Negative pressure wound therapy
- Suction devices
- Electronic Medical Records (EMR): Cerner and ITW
