Description

Nursing Opportunity – Operating Room (Cardiac)

Location: Corvallis, Oregon
Facility: Good Samaritan Regional Medical Center
Employment Type: Contract (13 weeks)

Department Description

Operating Room of Surgery specializing in cardiac care for surgical and procedural sedation patients.
Patient population includes pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and elderly.
Collaborates with multiple provider specialties.
Care provided for patients discharged the same day or admitted to the hospital.

Experience / Education / Qualifications

Current unencumbered Oregon RN license required.
Healthcare Provider Level BLS required.
AHA ACLS certification required.
Minimum 1 year experience as a Circulating Nurse in the OR or completion of an approved didactic pre-operative nursing class.
Minimum 2 years experience in ICU/PCU and/or medical/surgical acute care setting.
Preferred:
- 1 year CVOR/Open Heart experience.
- ICU experience.
- Scrubbing experience.
