Location: Las Cruces, New Mexico
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Facility & Unit Information

• Unit: Emergency Department (ER Service)
• Trauma Level: Level IV
• Number of Beds: 20
• Patient Population: All ages (pediatric, adult, geriatric)
• Patient Ratios:

  • ESI 1, 2, & Horizontal 3s – 4:1
  • ESI Vertical 3s, 4, & 5 – 7:1
• Electronic Health Record (EHR): MedHost

Required Qualifications & Certifications

• Experience: Minimum 3+ years in emergency services
• Certifications Required:

  • ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
  • BLS (Basic Life Support)
  • ENPC (Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course)
  • NIH Certification
  • PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
  • TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course)
• Licensure: Must hold a valid RN license to practice in New Mexico
• Additional Requirements:

  • Must complete fingerprinting and background check per New Mexico state requirements (travelers may start on a 14-day waiver with supervision while results are pending)
