Registered Nurse (RN) - Emergency Department (ED)
Location: Hackensack, New Jersey
Employment Type: Clinical
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Job Summary
- Provide specialized and innovative care in the Emergency Department.
- Handle a variety of emergency situations for patients of all ages.
- Quickly and accurately assess incoming patients with physical and mental health conditions.
- Prioritize injuries and medical needs effectively.
- Manage trauma situations requiring quick and decisive actions.
Required Skills & Experience
- Minimum 18 months of nursing experience in an ED environment.
- Recent ED experience within the past six months.
- Demonstrated clinical performance and practice.
- Strong clinical knowledge and analytical skills to develop effective nursing care plans.
- Ability to perform a wide variety of professional nursing services.
- Effective communication skills with patients, families, and hospital personnel.
Required Certifications & Licensure
- NJ State Professional Registered Nurse license or multi-state compact license.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) - AHA certified.
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support).
- Telemetry certification.
- PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support).
- NIHSS (National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale).
- CEU Contact Stroke (4 hours).
