  • Department: Respiratory Therapy
  • Location: 3rd Floor, Tower A
  • Number of Beds: 368
  • Number of Staff: 34 Respiratory Therapists
  • Patient Ratios: 36 UOS
  • Equipment Used: V60, Hamilton C1, PB40, PB980, Metaneb, EPOC ABG system, Nitric Oxide delivery, AIRVO
  • EMR System: Meditech

Required Skills and Experience

  • Minimum Specialty Experience: 1 year as a Respiratory Therapist
  • Must Have: ICU experience
  • Preferred: CVICU experience
  • Typical Procedures:
    • ABG (Arterial Blood Gas) analysis
    • Ventilator management
    • Nitric oxide management
    • Bronchoscopy assistance
    • Intubation assistance
    • Nebulizer treatments
    • High Flow Nasal Cannula (HFNC)

Certifications and Licenses

  • CRT or RRT certification required
  • ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
  • BLS (Basic Life Support)
  • NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program)
  • PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
  • Valid Respiratory Therapist (RT) License/Certification

Work Environment and Additional Info

  • Floating: Coverage required in all hospital areas
  • Dress Code: Black scrubs
  • Schedule: Rotating weekends
