Description

Respiratory Therapist (RRT) Travel Position

Location: Frankfort, Kentucky
Employment Type: Travel

Facility & Unit Information

Acute care hospital with 174 beds including ED, ICU, and NICU
Unit: Respiratory Therapy (RT)
Equipment: Hamilton C-1 BiPAP, Airvo, Avea ventilators
Documentation system: Meditec
Certifications: Level 3 Trauma Center, Stroke Center, Level 2 NICU, Chest Pain with Primary PCI accreditation
Scheduling: Night shift, staff self-schedules on a 4-week rotation with every other weekend required

Job Requirements

Must have Kentucky state license
Must have NRP certification (can be provided onsite if needed)
Required certifications: ACLS, BLS
Experience as a Respiratory Therapist in a hospital setting required
NICU experience is a plus but not mandatory
Advanced skills: Arterial Blood Gases (ABGs)

Additional Information

Dress code: Any color uniform except royal blue
New equipment available including brand new BiPAPs and Aerogen devices
No floating policy specified
