Description
Respiratory Therapist (RRT) Travel Position
Location: Frankfort, Kentucky
Employment Type: Travel
Facility & Unit Information
- Acute care hospital with 174 beds including ED, ICU, and NICU
- Unit: Respiratory Therapy (RT)
- Equipment: Hamilton C-1 BiPAP, Airvo, Avea ventilators
- Documentation system: Meditec
- Certifications: Level 3 Trauma Center, Stroke Center, Level 2 NICU, Chest Pain with Primary PCI accreditation
- Scheduling: Night shift, staff self-schedules on a 4-week rotation with every other weekend required
Job Requirements
- Must have Kentucky state license
- Must have NRP certification (can be provided onsite if needed)
- Required certifications: ACLS, BLS
- Experience as a Respiratory Therapist in a hospital setting required
- NICU experience is a plus but not mandatory
- Advanced skills: Arterial Blood Gases (ABGs)
Additional Information
- Dress code: Any color uniform except royal blue
- New equipment available including brand new BiPAPs and Aerogen devices
