Job Opportunity: Nuclear Medicine Technician

Location: Dover, New Hampshire
Facility: Wentworth-Douglass Hospital (Mass General Brigham)
Employment Type: Long-Term Assignment (LTA)
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Schedule: 40 hours/week, Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM
Call/Weekend: No call or weekend shifts required


Job Description

  • Seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technician with a specialty in Cardiology.
  • Must reside more than 50 miles from Dover, NH.

Required Certifications and Licenses

  • CNMT (Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist)
  • BLS (Basic Life Support) – AHA, Red Cross, CHSF, or Military accepted (AHA preferred)
  • Professional License/Certificate Verification – Primary source verification required within 30 days of start date; MA Conditional Licenses not accepted

Health and Safety Requirements

  • Fit Test: N95 respirator fit test within 365 days of start date, updated annually (no religious exemptions)
  • MMR Vaccination: Documentation of two measles, two mumps, and one rubella vaccine or two MMR vaccines, or proof of immunity via blood test
  • TB Test: Documentation of TB skin test or negative QuantiFERON/T-spot blood test within 3 months of start date, updated if >6 month break
  • Health Statement: Physician statement signed by MD/DO/NP/PA within 365 days of start date, updated if >6 month break
  • Respirator Medical Clearance Attestation: Required if fit test is required
  • Influenza Vaccine: Required during flu season (Sept 15 - April 30), no exemptions allowed (strongly preferred but optional outside flu season)
  • Hepatitis B: Strongly preferred (vaccination or proof of immunity or declination)
  • Tdap Vaccine: Preferred within last 10 years

Background and Professional Requirements

  • Criminal Background Check: Within 45 days prior to start, including county and international searches if applicable
  • National Sex Offender Check: Within 30 days of start, updated annually
  • Exclusion Checks: OIG, GSA, MassHealth & NH Medicaid exclusion lists within 30 days of start and annually
  • New Hampshire State Checks: NH Criminal Background and BEAS record checks within 30 days prior to start
  • Resume: Must include past 7 years of work experience with city and state
  • References: Two recent references, at least one supervisor or above in the skillset
  • Skills Checklist: Required for submission
  • Education Verification: Verified through background check company
  • SSN Trace: Must be run with criminal check covering last 7 years
  • Confirmation of Assignment/POI Form: Required for all initial assignments and extensions

Additional Notes

  • No onsite fit testing available; must be completed prior to start.
  • No religious exemptions for fit testing or influenza vaccine.
  • Documentation must be current and updated as required for breaks in service.
