Registered Nurse (RN) - Telemetry (Tele)
Location: Louisville, Kentucky

Job Summary
As a Registered Nurse (RN) in Telemetry, you will be responsible for providing safe, effective, patient- and family-centered care. You will focus on quality outcomes, customer satisfaction, and maintaining a financially stable unit. The role includes supervising licensed and non-licensed staff, applying evidence-based practice, and supporting education within a Practice Governance framework. You will assess, develop, implement, and evaluate patient care plans, emphasizing patient comfort, education, and satisfaction. Additionally, you will mentor and precept staff members.
Key Responsibilities
- Assessment: Perform patient assessments and reassessments according to policy or patient condition; make sound independent decisions.
- Development & Implementation: Initiate, prioritize, and implement care plans; collaborate with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams; use resources effectively.
- Evaluation: Monitor and document patient responses to clinical interventions.
- Education: Provide and evaluate education tailored to patient and family needs during the stay and at discharge.
- Leadership: Delegate tasks to licensed and non-licensed personnel; serve as a mentor/preceptor; promote teamwork; identify and communicate improvement opportunities; participate in quality, safety, and service improvement initiatives; comply with regulatory standards; engage in Practice Governance activities.
Contract Length
Approximately 13 weeks (90 days).
