Occupational Therapist Position

Location: Miles City, Montana
Employment Type: Clinical Non-Nursing Contract

Job Summary

• Provide assessment, treatment, and education focused on independent living, community reintegration, functional cognitive retraining, upper extremity function, perceptual activities, assistive equipment, and splinting/positioning mechanics.
• Evaluate patients, establish treatment goals and anticipated outcomes, and deliver skilled physical assessments and treatments.
• Delegate and supervise students, assistants, and technicians within scope of authority.
• Reassess patient progress, revise treatment plans, and modify goals as needed.
• Uphold organizational mission, vision, values, and service behavior standards.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Contract Length

• 13 weeks

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of related experience, preferably in a clinic setting.
• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited school.
• Current and valid state Occupational Therapist licensure.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's degree in Occupational Therapy.
• Certified Hand Therapist (CHT).
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification endorsed by the American Heart Association.
