Travel RN Opportunity – Emergency Room (ER)
Location: Dallas, Texas
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Position Overview
- Role: Registered Nurse (RN) – Emergency Room (ER)
- Employment Type: Travel
- Unit: ER (780)
- Shift: Weekend, every other weekend
- Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours/week
- Call Requirements: Yes
Experience & Certification Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of RN specialty experience in Emergency Room
- Must be charge capable / have charge experience
- Certifications required:
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
- BLS (Basic Life Support)
- NIH Certification
- PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
- TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course)
- Active RN license required (temporary licenses not accepted)
Skills & Preferences
- Experience with Meditech documentation system preferred
- Must meet all required certifications and skills to be considered
- Preferred candidates have advanced skills and prior ER experience
Unit & Workplace Guidelines
Dress Code:
- Royal Blue scrubs for RNs
- Clean, healthy nails (no artificial, gel, or next-gen nails)
- Neat, clean hair; pulled back if shoulder length or longer
- Facial hair must be neatly trimmed
- Tattoos should be covered when possible
- Visible piercings other than ears are prohibited (e.g., nose, tongue rings)
Floating Policy: Floating as needed
Attendance: Company-wide attendance policy applies
Additional Notes
- Prior travel experience is not explicitly required for this role.
- Must be able to work weekends every other week and be available for call.
