Travel RN Opportunity – Emergency Room (ER)

Location: Dallas, Texas
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Position Overview

• Role: Registered Nurse (RN) – Emergency Room (ER)
• Employment Type: Travel
• Unit: ER (780)
• Shift: Weekend, every other weekend
• Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours/week
• Call Requirements: Yes

Experience & Certification Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of RN specialty experience in Emergency Room
• Must be charge capable / have charge experience
• Certifications required:

  • ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
  • BLS (Basic Life Support)
  • NIH Certification
  • PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
  • TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course)
• Active RN license required (temporary licenses not accepted)

Skills & Preferences

• Experience with Meditech documentation system preferred
• Must meet all required certifications and skills to be considered
• Preferred candidates have advanced skills and prior ER experience

Unit & Workplace Guidelines

• Dress Code:

  • Royal Blue scrubs for RNs
  • Clean, healthy nails (no artificial, gel, or next-gen nails)
  • Neat, clean hair; pulled back if shoulder length or longer
  • Facial hair must be neatly trimmed
  • Tattoos should be covered when possible
  • Visible piercings other than ears are prohibited (e.g., nose, tongue rings)

• Floating Policy: Floating as needed

• Attendance: Company-wide attendance policy applies

Additional Notes

• Prior travel experience is not explicitly required for this role.
• Must be able to work weekends every other week and be available for call.
