- Shift: 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM (Night Shift)
- Assignment Length: 13 weeks

Unit Information
- Unit Type: Progressive Care Unit (PCU)
- Number of Beds: 34
- Staffing:
- Night Shift: 1 charge nurse, 7-9 nurses
- Day Shift: 1 charge nurse, 9-11 nurses, 2 aides
- Patient Ratio: 1 nurse to 4 patients
- Equipment Used: Telemetry, bedside monitors, defibrillator, Alaris pumps, Kangaroo pump, CT, pacer wires, pacing box
- Electronic Medical Record (EMR): Epic
Required Skills & Experience
- Must Have:
- Telemetry experience
- Cardiovascular background preferred
- Preferred:
- Cardiovascular experience
- Simple gtts (drips)
Typical Procedures on Unit
- Transesophageal Echocardiogram (TEE)
- Cardioversion
Certifications & Licenses Required
- Alaska RN License (required for submission)
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
- BLS (Basic Life Support)
- NIH Certification

- Floating Areas: ICU and COVID unit
