Travel RN - Tele Surgical Transplant
Location: Denver, Colorado
Unit: Transplant/Stepdown (34 beds)
Job Details
- Employment Type: Travel
- Contract Length: 13 weeks
- Shift: 7 PM - 7 AM (Night Shift)
- Patient Ratio: 1:3-4
- EMR System: Meditech
Unit Information
- 34 beds with approximately 50 staff members
- Night shift staffing example: 1 Charge RN, 3 RNs, 2 CNAs, 1-3 sitters
- Equipment includes bladder scanners, Mobilabs for lab draws, EKG machines, AccuVein, Virtual Sitter Cameras, W.O.Ws, Hoyer Lift, Sara Stedy Lift, Sit to Stand Lift
Required Qualifications
- Specialty: Registered Nurse (RN)
- Years of Experience: Minimum 2 years in Med/Surg/Telemetry or related specialty
- Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIH Certification
- Licenses: Valid Registered Nurse License
- Experience caring for patients with Heparin drips and PCA’s is required
Preferred Qualifications
- Stepdown/PCU experience
- Experience with Solid Organ Transplant patients (kidney, liver, or pancreas)

- Wound and drain care (including wound vac, chest tube, JP drains)
