Travel RN - Cath Lab Tech
Location: Austin, Texas
Employment Type: Travel Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Unit Overview
- Unit: Cath Lab
- Number of Labs: 3
- Staffing:
- 3 staff per procedure
- Day Shift: 9 staff plus supervisor
- Night Shift: 3 person call team
- Patient Ratios: 1:1
- Equipment: Philips
- EMR System: Meditech
- Call Requirements: On call average 9 days per month
- Weekends: Average 1 weekend per month
Job Description
- Shift: 6:30 AM - 5:30 PM
- Call: On call required
- Typical Procedures: Standard diagnostic and complex interventional cases, high volume
- Work Environment: Very busy lab with a strong sense of urgency
- Dress Code: Scrubs provided by hospital
Requirements
- Licenses: Registered Nurse License
- Certifications:
- ACLS
- BLS
- Cath Lab Tech Certification (ARRT or RCIS required)
- Experience: Minimum 2 years in specialty (Cath Lab Tech)
- Preferred: Candidates with 2+ years experience will be considered first
