Travel CST/ORT Opportunity - Colorado (Lonetree)
Position Details
- Specialty: CST/ORT (Certified Surgical Technologist / Operating Room Technician)
- Employment Type: Travel
- Location: Lonetree, Colorado
- Contract Length: 13 weeks
Unit Information
- Unit: Spine, Joint, and International Hip Preservation Center
- Number of ORs: 13
- Staffing: Approximately 26.7 full-time equivalents (FTEs)
- Shift: Day shift (7 AM - 7 PM)
- Staff Composition: 1 Charge nurse, variable RN/CST and ancillary staff depending on surgical blocks and scheduled cases
- Patient Ratios: 1 RN/CST per OR
- Equipment: Multiple OR equipment available in each OR
Required Skills and Experience
- Orthopedic and/or Spine experience is mandatory
- Must have skills in Orthopedics, Sports Medicine, and Total Joint procedures
- Spine experience required
- Certifications required: NBSTA (National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting) and DORA (Division of Regulatory Agencies)
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required
Typical Procedures
- Hip, Knee, and Shoulder Joint replacements
- Arthroscopic Sports Medicine cases
- Hip Preservation PAO (Periacetabular Osteotomy) cases
- Spine surgeries including repair and fusion

- Fast-paced unit requiring ability to work with diverse personalities
