Unit Information

Unit: Interventional Radiology (IR) / Cath Lab
Staffing:
- Day Shift: 3 RNs, 2 Techs
- Night Shift: On call only
Patient Ratios: Not specified
Equipment: CT, Ultrasound, IR and Cath rooms
EMR: Yes
On Call Requirement: On call 7 days a week, shared among staff
Floating: No floating requirements

Job Requirements

Experience: Minimum 1 year of experience in Interventional Radiology nursing or related specialty
Certifications: ACLS, BLS
Licenses: Registered Nurse License
Skills Required:
- Experience in Neuro intervention and interventional radiology procedures
- Scrubbing and circulating as an RN in an IR setting
Preferred Skills: Candidates with additional IR lab experience will be prioritized

Typical Procedures

All types of Cath lab and IR cases
CT-guided biopsies and drainages
Ultrasound-guided biopsies and drainages

Additional Information

Best personality fit: Collaborative and adaptable to a fast-paced IR environment
Unit policies and guidelines are provided upon hire
