Travel RN Opportunity - Fort Worth, Texas
Position Details
- Specialty: Registered Nurse (RN)
- Location: Fort Worth, Texas
- Employment Type: Travel
- Contract Length: 13 weeks
- Unit: Day Surgery (Preadmission Testing and Surgery Prep)
- Shift: Preferably four 10-hour shifts; shifts may vary, including day shifts and on-call as needed
Unit Information
- Unit Type: Day Surgery, located across from PACU
- Number of Beds: 15
- Staffing: Varies; typical day shift includes 1 charge nurse, 3 RNs, 2 CNAs, and 1-3 sitters
- Patient Ratio: 1:2
- EMR System: Meditech
- Typical Procedures: Recovery care
- Floating Areas: Possibly Preadmission Testing
- Dress Code: Royal Blue or Hospital Scrubs
- Unit Guidelines: ASPAN Guidelines followed
- On Call: Required occasionally
Requirements
- Certifications: ACLS, BLS
- Licenses: Registered Nurse License
- Experience: Minimum 1 year of experience in the specialty (Day Surgery or PACU preferred)
- Preferred Skills: Experience in Day Surgery or PACU is preferred but not mandatory
- Personality Fit: Easy going and pleasant
