Job Opportunity: Interventional Radiology Technologist (Rad Tech)
Location: Portland, Maine
Employment Type: Travel Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Position Details
- Specialty: Interventional Radiology Technologist
- Shift: Days
- Hours:
- 36 hours per week (9-hour shifts, 08:00 - 17:30)
- or 40 hours per week (shifts either 08:00 - 14:30 or 07:00 - 17:30)
- Weekend Hours: Call only (maximum 1-2 weeknights per week and every 6th weekend Friday-Sunday)
- Float Requirements: None
- Experience Required: Minimum 2 years
Education & Certifications
- ARRT RT (R) certification required
- BLS certification required
Unit Information
- 3 procedure rooms
- Staffing model: 2 technologists per procedure room, rotating scrubbing and circulating procedures
- Equipment: Siemens
- EMR System: EPIC
Required Skills & Experience
- Neuro experience (stroke, neuro interventions)
- Level 1 Trauma experience
Preferred Skills
- VI Certification preferred
Patient & Work Environment
- Patient ratios: Not applicable (procedure-based)
