Travel RRT Opportunity - Fort Pierce, Florida

Job Details

Location: Fort Pierce, Florida
Employment Type: Travel Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Unit Information

Unit: Respiratory Therapy at a 437-bed hospital
Staffing:
- Total Staff: ~60
- Day Shift: Director, Manager, Supervisor, 8-10 RRTs
- Night Shift: Supervisor, 8-10 RRTs
Patient Load: Approximately 44-46 procedures per shift
Equipment Used:
- Servo I ventilators
- Nebulizer
- Hamilton ventilators
- V60 ventilators
- Astral CPAP & BiPAP machines
- ABGs (Arterial Blood Gases)
- CPT (Chest Physiotherapy)
Electronic Medical Record (EMR): Meditech

Required Qualifications

Certifications: BLS, ACLS
Experience: Minimum 2 years of current acute care hospital RRT experience

Preferred Qualifications

Trauma experience
Previous experience with Meditech EMR preferred

Typical Procedures

Treatment, care, and evaluation of patients with:
- Respiratory insufficiencies
- Asthma
- Pneumonia
- Emphysema
