Travel RN Opportunity - Santa Fe, New Mexico

Position: Registered Nurse (Clinical Nurse I-IV)
Specialty: RN
Employment Type: Travel
Shift: Nights (7 PM - 7 AM)
Start Date: ASAP
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Summary

The Registered Nurse coordinates and implements patient care tailored to the age of the patient population on assigned units. Ensures quality, efficient, and safe care consistent with unit standards. Demonstrates professionalism, respect, and effective communication with staff, physicians, patients, and families.

Requirements

Education & Licenses

Graduate of an accredited Registered Nursing program
Current New Mexico RN license or current Compact state license
BLS and ACLS certifications required (via AHA)
TNCC certification required

Experience

Minimum 1 year of experience as an RN (highest required years of experience)

Skills

Current knowledge and skills appropriate to the patient population served
Sensitivity to patients’ rights in care delivery
Clear and age-appropriate communication skills

Physical Requirements

Ability to handle emergency/crisis situations
Prolonged standing and walking
Heavy physical effort for positioning, pushing, or transferring patients and equipment
Considerable reaching, stooping, bending, kneeling, crouching
Good visual and hearing acuity (normal or correctable)
Manual dexterity and fine motor coordination

Work Environment

Exposure to bloodborne pathogens and infectious diseases
Clean, well-lighted, ventilated, smoke-free environment
Subject to stressful professional relationships
Flexible working hours due to schedule changes and emergencies

Supervision

Reports to Patient Care Director or Manager
