Pediatric OR RN - Morgantown, West Virginia

Position Overview

• Pediatric Operating Room Registered Nurses needed.
• Pediatric experience preferred but not required.
• Facility includes 6 ORs and 1 procedural room.
• 15-28 cases per day.
• Common cases: tonsils, hypospadias, rectus muscle, craniotomy, cardiac, orthopedic.
• Scrubbing experience preferred but not required.
• Midnight RN serves as Charge RN.
• Rotating shifts covering all shifts.
• 1 call shift per week.
• 1-2 weekend call shifts.
• Rotating holiday coverage.
• Mandatory standby with a 30-minute response time.
• Floating required to 5N/1W & Children’s units.
• Scrubs provided.
• 2-day orientation including checklist completion.
• Orientation shifts: two 8-hour and two 12-hour shifts; preferred 10:30 AM - 7:00 PM on 8-hour days.
• Weekends and holidays scheduled as needed.

Requirements

• BLS certification required.
• Must have a valid driver’s license with an address outside 50 miles from the facility.
• Disclosure of any license issues at time of submission.
• Previous permanent candidates must have been off for 2 years.
• Previous travelers must have been off for 2 years after 1 full year of travel at this facility.
• Submission limited to 1 position at a time across the entire system.
• Travel teams must be submitted together.
• Only 2 candidates submitted per opening; additional submissions held if position is full.

• 13 weeks
