Registered Nurse (RN) - Temp Assignment

Location: Claremont, New Hampshire
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Overview

• Assignment covers Medical/Surgical (MS), Telemetry (TELE), and Progressive Care Unit (PCU) specialties.
• Candidates must be comfortable working in all three specialties.
• Holiday coverage required for one of the following:

  • Christmas Eve/Christmas Day and the following Friday/weekend
  • New Year’s Eve/New Year’s Day and the following Friday/weekend
• Extensions ending in November or before December holidays will not be considered for extension into 2026.
• Must have New Hampshire Temporary Health Care Service Agency License/Registration Certificate at submission (required by state).
• Facility is a small, rural hospital; rural experience preferred.
• Must be able to work independently and "hit the ground running."
• Candidates residing within 50 miles of the facility will not be considered.
• Dress code: Personal scrubs of any color.
• Patient population ranges from newborn to geriatric.
• RN to patient ratio: typically 5:1; higher acuity PCU patients ratio 3:1 or 4:1 (both day and night shifts).
• Requested time off (RTO) must be submitted and approved at time of application; no RTO requests accepted after submission.
• No non-billable orientation.
• OT and holiday multipliers apply.
• Call and call-back not applicable.

Requirements

• Minimum 3+ years experience in PCU, Medical/Surgical, and Telemetry nursing.
• Telemetry experience is required.
• Basic dysrhythmia test must be included in profile.
• Previous travel nursing experience highly preferred.
• Rural/small facility experience highly preferred.
• Must have own vehicle for assignment.
• Permanent address must be included in profile.
• All scheduling requests, including any time off, must be made at submission; no accommodations accepted after offer.
• Do not submit candidates who plan to work concurrently with another permanent or travel assignment or who will request block scheduling.

Certifications

• ACLS (AHA)
• BLS (AHA)

Licensing

• New Hampshire RN license or Compact RN license required and must be in-hand at submission. No pending licenses accepted.

• Small, 25-bed general medical and surgical hospital with 24/7 emergency department coverage.
• Located in a rural setting, serving Claremont and surrounding towns.
• Facility has private patient rooms and updated emergency department.
• Focus on internal renovations and keeping pace with best practices in healthcare.

This assignment is ideal for experienced RNs comfortable with multiple specialties in a rural hospital setting who can work independently and meet strict scheduling and licensing requirements.
