Travel RN Opportunity – OB/L&D

Location: Rockport, Maine
Facility: Family Birth Center, Obstetrics and Gynecology

Position Details

• Role: Registered Nurse (RN)
• Specialty: Obstetrics/Labor & Delivery (OB/L&D)
• Shift: Night/Evening
• Weekly Hours: 36 guaranteed hours, including 36 weekend hours
• Contract Length: 13 weeks
• Number of Openings: 1
• Experience Required: Minimum 2 years in OB/L&D or related areas

Unit Information

• Unit Type: Family Birth Center
• Number of Beds: 11
• Patient Ratios: 1:1 and 1:3
• Patient Types: Laboring mothers, C-section patients, gynecology/surgical patients, postpartum mothers, newborn nursery (Level I)
• Equipment: Intellispace Perinatal Fetal Monitoring
• Electronic Medical Record (EMR): EPIC

Job Requirements

• Certifications Required:

  • Electronic Fetal Monitoring (EFM)
  • Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP)
  • Basic Life Support (BLS)
• Education Modules: Relias training modules
• Float Requirements: May float to other units to assist but not expected to take full assignments
• Call Requirements: None

Desired Skills & Experience

• Strong background in Labor & Delivery, mother-baby postpartum care, obstetrics/surgical patients, and newborn nursery care
• At least 2 years of OB/L&D experience preferred
