Travel RN - Emergency Room (ER)
Location: El Paso, Texas
Employment Type: Travel Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Nights, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM (1845-0715)
Start Date: April 26, 2024
Call Requirements: No call
Weekend Schedule: Every other weekend

- Unit: Emergency Department (ED)
- Number of Beds: 41
- Number of Staff: 90
- Staff Composition:
- Day Shift: 1 charge nurse, 1 trauma nurse, 1 unit clerk, 9 RNs, mixed paramedic/tech/RN mid shifts
- Night Shift: 1 charge nurse, 1 trauma nurse, 1 unit clerk, 9 RNs, mixed paramedic/tech/RN mid shifts
- Patient Ratios:
- Core: 1 nurse to 4 patients
- Fast Track: 1 nurse to 6 patients
- Electronic Medical Record (EMR) System: Meditech
- Permanent Positions Available: Yes
- Special Equipment: Covered during orientation
Required Certifications and Skills
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
- PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) or ENPC (Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course)
- BLS (Basic Life Support)
- TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course)
- CPI (Crisis Prevention Intervention) certification within 6 weeks of onboarding
- Texas RN license or Compact RN license preferred
