Travel RN Opportunity – ICU/CCU Unit
Location: Bowling Green, Kentucky
Unit Information
- Unit: ICU/CCU
- Number of Beds: 16
- Patient Ratios: Typically 2:1, occasionally 3:1
- Staffing: Unit secretaries and tech availability varies; tech staffed depending on census
- Equipment: Impella, GE monitors, Temporary Pacemakers, EKOS, IABP, Artic Sun, Hemodynamic monitoring
- Documentation System: Meditech
- Scheduling Requirements: 36 hours weekly
- Floating Policy: Float in rotation with core staffing
Required Certifications & Licenses
- BLS (Basic Life Support)
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
- NIH Certification
- Registered Nurse License
Skills & Experience
- Critical thinking and self-motivation required
- Advanced skills needed for:
- Central line insertions
- Dialysis catheter insertions
Dress Code
- Scrubs of any color allowed
- No denim, capris, or camouflage patterns
