CVOR Tech Position - Prescott, Arizona

Specialty: CVOR Tech 742000
Location: Prescott, Arizona
Contract Length: 13 weeks


Job Details

  • Unit: CVOR Tech (Main/West Campus)
  • Operating Rooms: 6 ORs (including 1 CVOR), 1 Hybrid room
  • Cases per Day: 20-30 cases (1-2 CV or up to 4 TAVR)
  • Common Cases: CABG, Aortic Valve, Mitral Valve, TAVR
  • Experience Required: Minimum 1 year of open heart experience
  • Certifications Required:
    • ACLS and BLS for RNs
    • BLS only for techs
  • Schedule: Monday through Friday, 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM
  • Call Requirements:
    • On call up to 50% of the time from end of shift to next morning
    • Call response time: 30 minutes
    • On call up to 50% of weekends
  • Scrubbing: Required for techs; RNs do not scrub
  • Support: Charge nurse and specialty leads available as resources
  • House Supervisor: On site from 6 PM to 7 AM only
  • EMR System: Cerner
  • Additional Info:
    • Hospital provides scrubs
    • Scrub techs available for OR techs
