• Ascension Respiratory Therapy Contract Worker Onboarding – Includes a 6-hour pre-hire education with attestation.
• Ascension Core Competencies – Includes HIPAA, Joint Commission NPSG, OSHA topics; completed within a year and updated yearly with minimum 80% score.
• Ascension Skills Checklist – Clinical skills checklist to be completed within one year of start and updated annually.

Health & Safety Requirements

• MMR (Measles, Mumps, Rubella) – Documented proof of two vaccines or positive IGG titer; no declinations accepted.
• Varicella – Proof of two vaccines, serological immunity, or history verified by healthcare provider; no declinations accepted.
• Tdap – Valid within 10 years; no declinations accepted.
• Hepatitis B – Documentation of vaccination series completion or signed declination.
• Influenza Vaccine – Recommended during flu season (Oct 1 – Mar 31); declinations accepted with mask requirement.
• Fit Test – Required for all travelers; preferred prior to start, can be completed onsite.
