Registered Nurse - Perioperative (Contract)

Location: Hermiston, Oregon

Job Description

Provide nursing care in pre-anesthesia, post-anesthesia Phase I, and post-anesthesia Phase II for surgical patients.
Monitor local-only patients in the OR and provide sedation for some procedures.
Ensure quality care of pre- and post-procedure patients using nursing processes, standards of care, and hospital policies.
Act as patient advocate and supervise any assigned personnel.
Participate in a regular scheduled on-call rotation for the Post-Anesthesia Unit.
Support hospital mission, vision, values, policies, and procedures.
