- Block Scheduling: Case by case
- Return to Office (RTO): Needs manager approval

Required Certifications
- BLS (Basic Life Support)
- NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) Certification
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) – as applicable
- PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) – as applicable
- NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Procedure) – as applicable
- CHEMO (Chemotherapy) – as applicable
- TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course) – as applicable
- Management of Assaultive Behavior (MAB) – as applicable
- CPI (Crisis Prevention Institute) – as applicable
- State License Verification (Primary source online verification required)
- NURSYS Verification (for RN, LPN/LVN, AP)
Competencies & Exams
- Medication Test/Pharmacology Competency Exam (80% score or meet/exceed Angoff score)
- Color Blind Testing (Relias online version acceptable)
- Competency Exam (minimum passing score 80% or Angoff score)
- Core Parts I, II, III (for subcontractors; annual completion required)
Health & Immunization Requirements
- Physical Exam within 12 months of start
- Fit Mask Test within 1 year of start (annual renewal required)
- Adult Tetanus/Diphtheria/Tdap vaccine within 10 years
- Negative TB test (2-Step PPD, QGOLD, or TSPOT) within 1 year
- TB Questionnaire (if positive TB test; annual renewal)
- Measles (Rubeola) – Positive titer or 2 vaccines; boosters required if negative/equivocal
- Mumps – Positive titer or 2 vaccines; boosters required if negative/equivocal
- Rubella – Positive titer or 2 vaccines; boosters required if negative/equivocal
- Hepatitis B – Positive titer, series, or declination accepted; booster post titer accepted
- Varicella – Positive titer, 2 vaccines, or physician-documented history of chickenpox
- Seasonal Flu Vaccination or approved medical/religious exemption (required during flu season)
- COVID-19 Vaccine (Dose 1 and Fully Vaccinated) or approved medical/religious exemption (declinations not accepted)
- Drug Testing: Negative 10-panel drug screen within 90 days of start

- 7-year background check within 1 year of start (updated annually) including:
- Social Security trace
- County searches for last 7 years
- Nationwide sex offender check
- Education verification (highest level)
- EPLS/GSA/SAM check upon hire
- HHS/OIG check upon hire
- Fingerprinting (time sensitive for New Mexico placements only)
- Education Verification (must verify highest level of education)
- Employment Application/Resume required
- 7-year Work History Verification required
- Unit-specific Skills Checklist (annual)
