Travel RN Opportunity – Med/Surg Telemetry

Location: Missoula, Montana
Facility Type: Acute Care, Level 4 Trauma, Teaching Hospital, Level 3 NICU, Accredited Chest Pain Center

Position Details

Specialty: Med/Surg Telemetry
Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
Weekly Hours: 36 (guaranteed)
Weekend Requirement: Every third weekend
Call: None
Number of Openings: 2
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Unit Profile

Number of Beds: 31
Patient Ratios: 1:6
Patient Population: Adult, Geriatric
Common Diagnoses/Treatments:
- Small bowel obstructions
- Diabetic complications
- Wound care
- Acute kidney injury
- Pneumonia
- Sepsis
EHR System: Cerner

Requirements

Education: Graduate of accredited nursing school (Associate degree or higher)
Experience: Minimum 1 year
Certifications:
- BLS
- ACLS
- NIHSS certification preferred
Skills:
- NG tube placement and management
- Foley catheter placement and management
- Chest tube maintenance
Float: As appropriate to experience

Additional Information

Personality Fit: Outgoing, excellent communication skills, adaptable to change
Dress Code: Any solid color scrubs (fluorescent colors not allowed)
