Travel RN Opportunity – Cath Lab (Cardiac Procedures)
Location: Elko, Nevada
Position Details
- Specialty: Registered Nurse (RN) – Cath Lab Cardiac Procedures
- Employment Type: Travel
- Contract Length: 13 weeks
- Shift: 3 shifts per week, 12 hours each
- Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours
- Weekend Hours: On call every other weekend
- Call Requirements: 10 shifts per month
- Patient Population: Adults
- Patient Ratios: 1:1 in Cath Lab
- Number of Openings: 1
Unit Profile
- Department: Cath Lab
- Number of Beds: 1 Cath Lab
- Equipment Used: Cath Lab Merge, GE, Volcano, Impella, Balloon Pump
- Electronic Health Record (EHR): Medhost
- Float Requirements: Occasionally float to assist in Emergency Room (ER)
- Common Diagnoses/Treatments:
- Myocardial Infarctions (MI’s) including STEMI, NSTEMI
- Unstable angina
- Personality Fit: Good team player
Requirements
- Certifications:
- Basic Life Support (BLS)
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
- Experience: Minimum 1 year experience in Cath Lab
- Must Have Skills: Prior experience working in a Cath Lab
- Preferred Skills: Experience circulating cardiac procedures
- Education: Valid RN License
Dress Code
- Scrub Color: Black (hospital supplies scrubs)
- Unacceptable Attire: Street clothes
