Description

Cardiac Cath Lab RN Opportunity - Louisiana

Location: Zachary, Louisiana
Specialty: Cardiac Cath Lab
Contract Length: 13 weeks (approximately 3 months)
Shift: Monday to Friday, 6:30 AM - 3:00 PM (8-hour days)
On-Call: 16 days every 6 weeks, including 2 weekends; may require working late on call days

Job Requirements

Minimum 3 years of experience in Cardiac Cath Lab
Must be skilled in:
- Pre- and post-procedure care
- Radial access procedures
- Scrubbing for heart procedures
- Pacemaker and ICD implants
Experience with both heart and leg procedures
Proficient in EPIC charting system

Additional Information

Certifications required: ACLS, BLS
Facility has 2 labs with approximately 100 procedures per month
Equipment used: Cannon system
75-mile radius travel rule applies

This position offers exposure to a high-volume cardiac cath lab with diverse procedural experience in a supportive environment.
