Nursing Contract Opportunity - Honolulu, Hawaii
Specialty: Nursing (Neuroscience ICU)
Employment Type: Contract
Location: Honolulu, Hawaii
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Education / Licensure / Certification Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program; BSN preferred
- Active, unencumbered Hawaii RN license required
- Current certifications required: BLS/HCP, ACLS, NIHSS, and PALS
- TNCC and CPI (or equivalent) preferred
- Specialty certifications highly desired: CCRN, TCRN, SCRN, CNRN
- Must pass EKG exam with 80% or better during orientation
- EPIC EMR experience required
- All licenses and certifications must be valid throughout the contract duration
Professional Experience
- Minimum 2 years full-time RN experience in a Neuroscience ICU at a Level I Trauma Center prior to travel assignments
- CRRT experience highly desired
Additional Information
- Previous travelers to this health system are highly preferred
- Travelers may float to ICU, Stepdown, and Telemetry units based on facility needs
- Compliance documentation must be completed and submitted at least 10 days before the contract start date; failure to do so will delay the start date without extending the contract end date
- Requested Time Off (RTO) is not permitted during the initial contract period
- Hawaii residents are eligible but will not receive traveler rates
Note: All compliance requirements include current NURSYS report and certifications (ACLS, BLS/BCLS, PALS).
