Job Overview

• Position: Registered Nurse (RN) - Step Down Unit
• Location: Sioux City, Iowa
• Employment Type: Temporary
• Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

• Provide professional and clinical nursing care as part of an interdisciplinary team.
• May be required to float within the same discipline across local campuses.
• Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system used: CERNER.
• Work hours: 36-40 hours/week, with overtime billable after 40 hours.
• Required to work 2 of 3 major winter holidays (Christmas, New Year's, or Thanksgiving).
• Limited time off allowed during holiday periods (11/26/25-11/30/25 and 12/23/25-1/2/26).

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of previous step down nursing experience.
• At least 1 completed travel nursing contract.
• Must have a taxable address more than 50 miles from the job market.
• Required certifications:

  • ACLS (AHA)
  • BLS (AHA)
  • NIHSS
• State License: Iowa (Compact license allowed).
