Job Opportunity: Radiologic Technologist (Rad Tech) - Travel Position

Location: Arlington, Texas
Employment Type: Travel Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Unit: Interventional Radiology (IR Tech / 727)
Floor: 1st
Number of Beds: 0
Number of Staff: 7
Staff Type:
- Day Shift: 3 RNs, 2 Techs (example: 1 charge, 3 RN, 2 CNA, 1-3 sitters)
- Night Shift: On call only
Patient Ratios: Not specified
Equipment: CT, Ultrasound, IR and Cath rooms
EMR System: Not specified
On Call Requirement: On call 7 days a week, shared among all staff
Floating Requirement: None

Required Skills and Experience

Specialty: Radiologic Technologist (Rad Tech)
Years of Experience Required: 1 year in specialty
Must Have:
- IR Lab experience
- Scrubbing and circulating as an RN in an IR setting
Preferred: Candidates with additional relevant skills will be considered first

Typical Procedures Performed

All types of Cath lab and IR cases
CT guided biopsies and drainages
Ultrasound guided biopsies and drainages

Personality Fit

Best suited for candidates comfortable working in a specialized IR environment with on-call responsibilities and teamwork among a small staff.

Note: No floating requirements and on-call duties are shared among staff.
