Position Details

• Specialty: Physical Therapist (inpatient/outpatient)
• Start Date: ASAP (minimum two weeks from offer for compliance)
• Shift: Monday to Friday, 5 days a week, 8-hour shifts (0800-1700)
• Ratios: 1:6
• Experience Required: Minimum 2 years
• First-timers: Not accepted
• Weekend Requirement: None (pending confirmation if position is strictly M-F)
• On-call: No
• Floating: Yes, within scope to meet facility needs
• Block Schedule: May be accommodated (potential M-F position)
• Locals Accepted: Yes (no radius restrictions)
• License:

  • Must have BLS and State License
  • Compact license accepted
  • Pending license not accepted
  • Montana state license takes approximately 8 weeks to obtain
• Return to Office (RTO) Restrictions: No RTO within first two weeks due to orientation; limit RTO to one week thereafter
• Guaranteed Hours: Yes

  • 5x8 hr shifts = 40 hours/week guaranteed
  • 3x12 hr shifts = 36 hours/week guaranteed
  • 4x12 hr shifts = 48 hours/week guaranteed

Required Credentials & Compliance

• Certifications:

  • BLS (Basic Life Support) required
  • ACLS, PALS, NRP as required by unit description
  • Tech Certification verification as applicable
  • Orientation Safety Manual Acknowledgement (annual)
  • State License primary source verification required

• Background Checks:

  • 7-year criminal background check within 1 year of start (updated annually)
  • EPLS/GSA/SAM check within 30 days of start
  • HHS/OIG check within 30 days of start

• Health Requirements:

  • Physical exam within 1 year of start
  • Negative TB test or chest X-ray within 1 year of start (annual updates required)
  • Immunizations or positive titers for:

    • Rubeola (Measles)
    • Mumps
    • Rubella
    • Hepatitis B
    • Varicella
  • Drug testing: Negative 9-panel within 1 year of start
  • Seasonal flu vaccination or declination during flu season (Oct 1 - Mar 31)
  • COVID-19 vaccination (including booster) required; exemptions accepted
  • Fit mask test completed onsite on first day

• Competency Exams:

  • Medication test/pharmacology competency as applicable
  • Specialty competency exam as applicable
